The comprehensive student support system (CSSS) enables all students to achieve the Vision of a Hawaii Public School Graduate. It includes having a personalized classroom climate and differentiated classroom practices. It focuses on prevention and early intervention. There is a support in place for transition. Community outreach and support are crucial partnerships with the school to help enhance school-community connections.  Family involvement and participation are also critical components as parents serve as major stakeholders in the educational process. Furthermore, specialized assistance and crisis and emergency support are available to intervene during crisis and emergency situations.

The CSSS provides an array of student support services that identifies the current resources available at the school in the five levels of student support. This array provides school personnel, parents, students, and the community with an awareness of the different services and programs available to support student learning.
