Principal's Message
Aloha, Saber parents and friends. We have just completed a successful year at James Campbell High School and are looking forward to the successes of the next school year.
I take great pride in our recent graduates. The list of college acceptances is amazing, and we had more of our seniors earning more scholarship money than in years past. Collectively, 136 of our seniors earned $10.6 million in scholarship awards. I am so excited to see these young people have so many options for their future, and I wish them well as they go on their journeys. Way to go Sabers!
Our focus on the students at JCHS is creating a better and safer learning environment full of rich opportunity for all. In the 2009-2010 school year, our efforts will be targeted on growing our band program, refining our programs, such as Talent Development and AVID, and increasing our numbers for college attendance and Pathways program completion.
We will continue to build a safe school environment where all students are able to learn by strictly enforcing attendance policies. Class cutting, truancy and learning campus without consent simply cannot be tolerated because it jeopardizes student safety and hinders learning. I am happy to report that our efforts to enhance school safety have been working. Our strict approach to discipline in order to keep building a school environment where all students are able to learn.
Together, we will continue creating a great learning community at James Campbell High School. I look forward to another year with our wonderful students.
